I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and I enjoy the outdoors and the natural light that is all around us. My style of photography is relaxed and thoughtful. I create images of people being themselves, at their best. Frequently I am asked "How did you get that picture!? I didn't know you took that!"
By using natural light whenever possible, I avoid that flat "flashed" look. People and places are shown in their true colors and ambience. I understand body language and can anticipate a person's next move which allows me to create great candid images. With photography, if you see the action, then you missed the shot. In order to get a good candid, you have to press the shutter button a split second before something occurs in order to capture that exact moment. And at that very moment, I create images of people that show them at their best. Photography is my gift and I love to share it.
